charting - Trend formations - the shoulder-head and shoulders pattern (SKS-Formation)

IMPORTANT: given here descriptions are very, very brief remarks by my guide to "technical analysis - the" technical analysis "for ordinary shareholders: 4 tools to predict the trend" that I have written specifically for stock entry have!

The shoulder head and shoulders pattern derives its name from the human anatomy. They are easily recognized by the three highs. The average high symbolizes the head, the two low-lying left and right shoulder.

legend for the graph:
  • The thick zig-zag line at the top of the graph to represent the course line.
  • The horizontal line below the three peaks is the neckline that is by joining and other leaders of the two lows of the band formed.
  • The bars in the bottom of the graph to represent the volume of development.
  • 1: The course line breaks through the neckline within 1-3 days by more than 3% of the market value.
  • 2: The volume is on the right shoulder is very low.
  • 1 + 2: Is 1 and 2 are given, then this is a clear exit signal (1)!
  • 3: The minimum rate of waste resulting from the transfer of the vertical distance between the head and nape of the neck below the opening.
Other observations:
The SKS-Formation is mainly a formation of the primary (long term) trends. They also
is a reversal formation - the step-up in the downward trend.

charting - Trend formations - Introduction

As already announced, I would like to close in coming months, the topic trend formations. Let me start with the fact that I have some preliminary thoughts - some perspective on what to expect in that list.

in the next couple articles I introduce to you the main formations:
  • the shoulder-head-shoulder (SKS) and the shoulder inverse head and shoulders pattern (iSKS) ,
  • the M-and W-band ,
  • the triple and high- triple deep formation ,
  • the symmetrical, ascending-descending and triangle formation
  • and pennants and flags formation .
These formations, we will assign specific trends, namely
  • the primary trend ,
  • the secondary trend
  • and tertiary trend.
will also learn about the formations
  • existing trend likely to continue (upward or downward)
  • and which have a reversal signal.
I will also show you where you can draw in the various formations signals.

And finally we will examine whether the volume of development confirms the respective signals.

As you can easily see, this issue will be very demanding. I hope you enjoy and have to say.
